The Kit Carson County Carousel is one of 74 carousels created by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company. It was built in 1905, making it over 100 years old! This moving work of art has an entire menagerie of animals to ride. Take a spin yourself for just 25 cents and then visit the Carousel museum for a $1 admission fee.

This historical town is more than just a museum. There are can-can shows, gun fights, an Emporium featuring local wares, an ice cream parlor, a Wild West Dinner Theater, and more. This is a great place to learn about and experience the history of Colorado’s eastern plains.
